Our Best Dressed Star of the Week is Lamon Archey!!
Commissioner Eli Grant.
We love saying those words. Commish for short. Eli and his boo, the First Lady of Law Enforcement of Salem, USA, Lani, was all matchy matchy as they stepped out for their first public soiree as Commish and First Lady of Law Enforcement.
Duty always calls, especially in Salem and especially at a Jarlena event. You can expect some stuff to pop off. That’s how Jarlena rolls! LOL. Eli was enjoying the festivities when he got the official word from DA Trask that Xander had flipped on the brainchild behind Ted/Kate’s kidnapping and Ted’s assumed to be murderer. It was Kristen DiMera. She was indeed alive. It was that word that set off the epic soap event we were so blessed to see. OMG, that was two days of fantastic soap.
After Kristen was unmasked she tried to make an escape. But Commish stopped that…not so fast Kristen. Commish wasn’t letting you go anywhere. John asked Commish to hold off and let Kristen explain herself. Commish stood by patiently while Kristen “tried” to explain herself. But when it had gone on too long Eli was like, “Let’s Wrap This Up.”
We’d like to think if Eli hadn’t been trying to prevent Eric from spending a night in jail, and pushing Eric off Kristen Eli might have been able to stop Kristen from pulling out her piece. Everybody had to be cautious when Kristen held Marlena at gunpoint so Kristen didn’t fulfill her life’s wish and send Marlena to soap opera heaven. After Susan saved the day Commish and First Lady hauled Kristen off to jail.
Eli was baptized in his first Salem escapade as Commish. All in all, we give him two thumbs up. Well done Eli. Welcome to the big leagues!
The grey suit, black shirt, with a matching striped grey tie topped off with Lamon’s chocolate…what else is needed? What else is there to say? The suit looked good! Lamon/Eli looked waaaaay better! LOL.
If I lived in Salem, USA I’d commit some crimes in the hopes that it would be Eli who arrested me. Sorry, Lani, if I’m overstepping but your man is just so fine!!
