Hola Family!

This Week’s Best Dressed is Amelia Heinle! (Victoria/Cora, The Young and The Restless)

You know you have to be the winner when you slayed in two different time periods. Amelia pulled double duty in Genoa City. She was of course Victoria in present time. But she was also introduced as Cora a character in Traci’s, Stolen Lockets, Broken Hearts, the lovely entertaining retro story within the story. She and Derek (Jason Thompson) shared a few words and a kiss before Derek’s henchman came from behind and knocked Flynn out while he was trying to get a picture of the lip lock for Iris. As a side note; we are obsessed with this storyline and can’t wait to see how it plays out.

But that was child’s play compared to what was going on in Victoria’s life in real time. The usually close siblings, Victoria and Nick’s, relationship hit as close to rock bottom as we have seen it. All thanks to the real “Dark Horse” of the family, Adam. Nick found out not only did Victoria go in his phone, without his knowledge, and give Adam Chelsea’s number. But that she also was Adam’s benefactor, who gave Adam the twenty seven million dollars that he used to buy Dark Horse right from under Nick. No, Victoria didn’t give Adam the money knowing what he was going to do with it. But she didn’t seem too torn up about it either. As long as Adam wasn’t going to be at Newman Enterprises, she was good. She told Nick she deserved to be CEO of Newman Enterprises. And she was not going to let Adam come and take it from her. Guess she’d let him take Dark Horse instead. LOL. She was the heiress apparent to Newman Enterprises. Spoiler alert; see next paragraph somebody forget to tell Victor that.

We are sure that Victoria was upset when she learned that daddy Victor had a rare blood disease that could be fatal. But let’s just say Victoria didn’t exactly wear her feelings on her sleeve. She told daddy Victor I will help by helping myself to the CEO chair so you can go take care of yourself. But instead Victor told them all to leave but Adam whom he offered the NE throne to. But Adam said no thank you Pops. I don’t want to run someone else’s company. But then went to Dark Horse to run Nick’s. Mkay LOL.

After all of Victoria’s years of labor, sweat and dedication to Newman Enterprises, Victor was ready to pass over her and hand the keys to the kingdom to the prodigal son. Man, we felt for Victoria. Lil sis, Abby, did have some words of wisdom for big sis. She told Victoria, look I’ve been where you are Victoria. You’d be better cut your losses now like Nick and I did and leave while you still have some pride left. But then it’s you so maybe not. Abby was right to say her peace. But she knew and we knew Victoria is not walking away from Newman. She is too much like her father to just give up without a fight. It will be her and Adam fighting it out until the bitter end!

We most definitely took notice of Victoria’s look. She wore a white ruffled sleeved Truleen Top by Club Monaco, red slacks and Carla Droplet Earrings by Kendra Scott. But we chose Cora’s look from the retro storyline as our best dressed. Glam. Glam. Glam. Old School Hollywood Glam. We have been thinking of doing a top five at the end of the year of our weekly winners. If we do this, this has to be a front runner, don’t you think?

Cora wore a black Obsession Dress by Stop Sharing (vintage style peplum) with a matching wide brimmed hat and black wrist gloves. Did you notice the bow on the side of the hat matched Amelia’s hair?! We loved the hanging bun, earrings and the locket. The red clutch, red lipstick, and we must show the two toned (black and red) Bettie T-Strap Platform Heels by Pin Up Couture that gave the look the pop of color it needed.

What else can we say? Just look at her!

Amelia, glam, glam, glamours glam.
