Beth Maitland (Traci Abbott, The Young and the Restless) is a multi-talented individual! Not only is she an accomplished actress, but she is also familiar with the stage and excels as a textile artist and quilter. In addition to these talents, she also takes on the roles of a Friesian mom.
Who Made the Quilt on The Young and the Restless?
Of course, after that emotional scene between sisters Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Traci upstairs in the bedroom at the Abbott mansion, fans were curious about who made the quilt. You would be happy to hear that it is one of Beth Maitland’s fine pieces. Maitland took to her Instagram account, “Yes it was my quilt in today’s episode. The show graciously had me bring in a few to choose from when Traci comforts ailing sister Ashley with a quilt “I made for your 21st birthday. I had no idea you still had it!” Always so fun when worlds collide. Thank you Lindsay Harrison for the beautiful writing and Steven Williford for the sensitive directing. Eileen and I have been sisters nearly 42 years.”
Beth Maitland is also an animal love. Maitland volunteers for a bunch of animal rescue groups and lives in California’s Central Coast with her own zoo – including horses, 2 Bengal cats, and a pack of dogs from rescues to her Scottish Deerhound, Aggie, who even has her own Instagram account!
