The Duprees Get Big News
Anita (Tamara Tunie) has been through a lot in the last couple of months.
Since finding out she has triple negative breast cancer, it’s been a very rocky road. And chemo? That hasn’t been easy either. In fact, there was a point where she was ready to give up.
But she didn’t.
She pushed through and is still fighting.
Now, Anita finally gets an update on whether the chemo has been working. And once she gets her results, the news quickly spreads throughout the Dupree family. Is it good? Is it bad?
And how will everyone take it?
We already know Dani (Karla Mosley) isn’t handling things very well. According to spoilers, Andre (Sean Freeman) ends up comforting her.
So is Anita’s medical update hitting Dani harder than expected?
It would make sense. Dani has already been dealing with her own fears after learning she carries the BRCA gene, and that alone was a lot to process. Thankfully, her husband is right there by her side through it all.
Celebrations and Warnings Collide
Meanwhile, there’s a bit of a lighter moment as Tomas (Alex Alegria) surprises Kat (Colby Nixon) for her birthday.
At the same time, her parents, Ted (Keith D. Robinson) and Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix), are honoring a tradition.
But of course, this is Beyond the Gates, so it’s not all smooth sailing.
Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) is back stirring things up, and this time she’s in Hayley’s (Marquita Goings) orbit. And when Leslie gets involved, you know something’s coming.
She ends up issuing a warning to Hayley.
And knowing Leslie, that’s definitely not something to ignore.
