Jacob (Jibre Hordges) is about to learn a rough lesson. He’s been working this undercover investigation for a while now and has made some progress, but it’s taken longer than expected. The question is, how much longer can he keep going by the name “Rashad” before he cracks the case?
Meanwhile, Martin (Brandon Claybon) has some advice for his mother. He encourages Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) to repair a fractured friendship, and it’s pretty clear this is about Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli). The two haven’t seen eye to eye since that double date at Uptown went sour.
Vanessa isn’t happy with how Nicole has been acting, and Nicole feels the same way. Things escalated to the point where they’ve been at odds ever since. But with Martin stepping in, there’s a chance they might finally fix what’s broken.
Trouble Builds as Wins Turn Risky
Elsewhere, Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) and Kat (Colby Nixon) are growing increasingly worried about what Madison’s (Kenjah McNeil) lawsuit could mean for them.
They were just celebrating a major win after locking in a deal with Fenmore’s, and it was a big moment. But now, that success could be overshadowed. Madison’s lawsuit has the potential to cause serious damage, and they know it.
For now, they’re left wondering if everything they’ve worked for could just go downhill.
At the same time, Hayley (Marquita Goings) is busy celebrating a win of her own. Her latest scheme is clearly working, but how long can she keep it going before she gets exposed?
