Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers for Wednesday, August 20, reveal that a shocking truth is about to leave Anita grappling. She’s about to face off with Leslie in a confrontation that will shock everyone.
Anita and Leslie Go to War
Truth be told, it’s going to be an explosive showdown when a truth bomb hits. Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) is coming up rich. She recently learned that her days of big debts, scheming for cash, and all of that are about to be over, because she’s the daughter of an Articulette. She’s about to come into a fortune, a massive fortune with more than a few zeroes.
This news sends her straight to the Dupree mansion to see Anita (Tamara Tunie), who has never been a fan of Leslie. Especially, not after ruining her daughter Nicole’s (Daphnee Duplaix) marriage to Ted (Keith D. Robinson). You can just imagine how Anita will react! Brace yourselves for some yelling, anger, and maybe even a slap as the two women go at it!
Eva Has Shocking Info for Tomas
Meanwhile, Eva (Ambyr Michelle) has a stunning revelation to share with Tomas (Alex Alegria). She just learned that her momma’s life has shifted in a good way for a change. Or, at least she hopes so. Her mom has Articulette blood running through her veins, and she’s going to be rich… filthy rich. But news like this won’t be celebrated by everybody, especially not the Duprees.
Andre Faces Ashley
Beyond the Gates spoilers for August 20 also reveal that Andre (Sean Freeman) rushes to the hospital after hearing about Derek (Ben Gavin), and is surprised by Ashley’s (Jen Jacob) reaction to seeing him.
Andre was ready to toss his Playboy attitude aside to settle down with Ashley, but she turned him down. All because she saw him locking lips with Dani (Karla Mosley) after making her a promise. Ashley is going to give him an earful. She tells him that she saw him and Dani all over each other, but what exactly does this mean for them?
