Here’s what’s coming up on Beyond the Gates for Thursday, December 18, 2025: Randy deals with a blast from the past, while Leslie calls out Marcel’s lies. And that’s not all, read on as Soap Opera News breaks down the day’s event for you.
What Does Lynette Want?
The schemers’ quarter is buzzing once again. Hayley (Marquita Goings) got a blast from the past that she definitely wasn’t expecting when Lynette Wise (Dominique Madison) showed up at Bill’s (Timon Kyle Durrett) law firm.
Lynette is in town, and it’s clear she and Hayley share a complicated history. In fact, the two were practically a scheming dream team back in the day, meaning Lynette knows far more about Hayley than she’s probably comfortable with.
Now that Lynette has landed in Fairmont Crest, the big question is whether her presence spells trouble for Hayley. Is this reunion purely a coincidence, or does Lynette have an agenda of her own? Things get even murkier when Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) reconnects with her, leaving both him and Hayley with more questions than answers. Clearly, Lynette didn’t come back for nothing. So why is she really in town?
Leslie Confronts Marcel
Meanwhile, Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) is gearing up for a major confrontation. She may be deceptive in her own way, but finding out Marcel (Darryl W. Handy) has been lying to her is a line she won’t let slide.
Thanks to Laura (Destiny Love), Eva (Ambyr Michelle) learnt that Marcel was hired to keep a watchful eye on her mom. And of course, Eva didn’t sit on that information for long; she told Leslie immediately. Now Leslie is ready to call Marcel out on his deception, and things are bound to get messy fast.
Dani and Bill Reflect, and Anita Helps Andre
Elsewhere, Dani (Karla Mosley) and Bill reach a new understanding as they reflect on their shared past. They’ve been through a lot together, and with two grown children as proof of their history, there’s no denying the bond they once shared. Even though things didn’t end well, some memories are still worth revisiting, and maybe even cherishing.
At the same time, Anita (Tamara Tunie) helps Andre (Sean Freeman) open up about his own past, something he rarely talks about. With Anita’s gentle encouragement, Andre may feel comfortable sharing more than he ever has before. We will see.
