Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers for Tuesday, May 20 tease that Leslie may not be done with her plan for Laura.
What Happens on Beyond the Gates on May 20?
Kat (Colby Muhammad) is wearing her detective hat and trying to get to the bottom of things in her “Deliver Us from Eva (and Leslie)” era. She knows one—or both—of them had something to do with Laura’s (Destiny Love) accident.
Kat thinks it’s just too coincidental that as soon as Laura was run off the road, her position as Nicole’s (Daphnee Duplaix) assistant suddenly became available, and Eva (Ambyr Michelle)—who had been plotting with Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) to drop a wrecking ball on the Richardsons—stepped in to take it.
As Kat hunts for answers, Leslie scrambles to cover her tracks… but will she get caught in the act? That remains to be seen!
Who Does Eva Lean On?
Meanwhile, Eva leans on the one person who believes her. Are fingers being pointed at her for what happened to Laura? Who believes in Eva’s innocence? It certainly isn’t Kat!
No Happily Ever After
Also in Tuesday’s episode of Beyond the Gates, Ashley (Jen Jacob) is an emotional mess. She and Derek (Ben Gavin) aren’t exactly living the happy life they imagined when he moved in. It’s been one hiccup after another—and soon, things may reach a breaking point.
And last but not least, Anita (Tamara Tunie) opens the door to her past. Taking Vernon’s (Clifton Davis) advice, she reaches out to the girls from her former singing group to plan a long-awaited reunion. Tune in!
