Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Double Date Turns Awkward Fast
The long-awaited double date is finally here as Nicole and Carlton join Joey and Vanessa for a night out at Uptown.
It should be a fun evening, but of course, that’s not how it plays out.
Carlton and Joey end up clashing, and Joey definitely doesn’t hold back. If he has something to say, he’s going to say it. At one point, he even throws out that he wishes he could be one of those “self-righteous do-gooders.”
Yeah… that dinner is not staying light and friendly.
Tomas Under Fire at the Firm
Meanwhile, things are getting serious for Tomas.
After his latest clash with Hayley, she decides to take things up a notch. Hayley tries to turn Bill against Tomas, putting his job on the line.
Tomas stands his ground. “You know I didn’t do this,” he insists.
But Bill isn’t so quick to believe him. “My wife said you did. Are you calling her a liar?”
That’s not a good place to be.
Romance, Threats, and a Big Night Ahead
Elsewhere, Kial and Nicole heat things up as they get romantic.
At the same time, Hayley is busy issuing warnings. She tells Lynette that she’s putting her in a difficult position. But Lynette is not backing down.
In fact, she flips it right back on Hayley, making it clear she’ll blow everything sky high if she doesn’t get what she wants.
And over at the country club, Anita has a big moment planned. Dressed to impress, she welcomes Jennifer Holliday to sing.
“Happy Easter, everyone,” she announces, setting the stage for what looks like a standout performance.
