Ashley and Naomi Are Left Shaken
What a night it has been in Fairmont Crest.
From the glamorous Cotillion to the warehouse disaster and a shocking death, everything completely spiraled out of control. What was supposed to be one of the biggest nights in town has officially ended in chaos, and now the fallout is hitting everyone hard.
First up, Ashley (Jen Jacob) and Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) are completely shell-shocked after the horrifying events of the evening.
Both women are struggling to process everything that just happened, and honestly, the emotional damage is already done. They have been on edge ever since learning what their respective partners were involved in, and that fear only grew stronger as the night unfolded.
Naomi held onto hope that Jacob’s (Jibre Hordges) mission would end safely and that he would make it back home. Meanwhile, Ashley just wanted Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) to survive whatever dangerous situation he got pulled into.
But after everything that happened, there are serious questions about whether things will turn out the way either woman hoped.
Joey Finds Himself Cornered
Meanwhile, the pressure is building for Joey (Jon Lindstrom).
Elon (Malachi Malik) is stepping in and making some major demands, and this time, Joey may not be able to talk his way out of trouble. He already told Elon he had nothing to do with the plasma ring, but that story clearly fell apart.
Now Joey is backed into a corner, and the walls are closing in quickly.
The drama also hits close to home for the McBride family.
Donnell (Alex Cheeks) starts pressing Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) with some very difficult questions. He is determined to finally get the truth out of her. And judging by the situation, Vanessa may have a hard time dodging her own son’s interrogation.
Marcel Starts Asking Questions
Elsewhere in town, Marcel (Darryl W. Handy) wastes no time getting to work.
He is officially questioning a perp and trying to piece together what really happened during the disaster that destroyed Fairmont Crest’s biggest event of the season.
Meanwhile, an unexpected detective team is beginning to take shape.
Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett), Kat (Colby Nixon), and Tomas (Alex Alegria) sit down together to compare notes and connect the dots. Each of them has different pieces of the puzzle, and by working together, they may finally start uncovering the truth.
At the very least, they could end up making more progress than anyone else so far.
