Halloween in the Crest
It’s Halloween in Fairmont Crest, so really… what could possibly go wrong? Then again, should we even have to ask that question when there’s a Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) roaming around? She’s practically everywhere Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) turns these days — the woman’s like a bad penny or, in this case, a persistent ghost that just won’t vanish.
Not even Halloween is safe. Just as Vernon (Clifton Davis) and Nicole are trying to enjoy their spooky night (sort of), who shows up trick-or-treating? Leslie. Talk about killing the vibe. But that’s not all Leslie’s up to. She and Ted (Keith D. Robinson) are also trying to forge a new path forward. Should we wish them good luck… or maybe a good exorcism?
Meanwhile, Nicole and Vernon’s evening continues as family members show up looking for some much-needed advice. Guess there’s no rest for the wise (or the weary) on Halloween night.
Derek Pressures Ashley
Beyond the Gates spoilers for October 30 tease that a run-in with Andre (Sean Freeman) pushes Derek (Ben Gavin) to ask Ashley (Jen Jacob) for a wedding update.
Derek’s more ready than ever to tie the knot, especially now that Andre is hitched to Dani (Karla Mosley) — talk about motivation. But what if Ashley’s not quite there yet? When Derek asks for that update, will he get the answer he’s hoping for… or one that haunts him instead?
Tyrell Defends Samantha
Elsewhere, Tyrell (Jaden Lucas Miller) steps up to defend his sister’s honor — and let’s just say Jessica (Camryn Jade) takes notice. It’s nice to see Tyrell standing strong for Samantha (Najah Jackson) , who could really use the support right now. And honestly? It’s a total win for Tyrell too, because Jessica definitely likes what she sees.
