The Fallout
Coming up next week on Beyond the Gates, Martin’s (Brandon Claybon) secret is finally out — and now the fallout begins.
First, Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) shows up at her dad’s law office, clearly upset. She tells him she’s been calling for how long and can’t believe he’s put them in this situation.
Meanwhile, Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) confronts Ted (Keith D. Robinson) for keeping yet another secret from her. She makes it clear she’s done sitting by and she’s ready to take some serious next steps.
As for Martin, he’s feeling the weight of it all. He’s terrified he’s about to lose his family for good, and he shares this with his grandma, grandpa, and aunt.
Sister Rivalry and Family Drama
And the sister rivalry? That’s far from over. Ted tells Kat (Colby Muhammad) that Eva (Ambyr Michelle) isn’t the kind of girl who would go after Tomas (Alex Alegria), especially knowing Kat is already seeing him. But then, in a twist, we see Eva and Tomas sharing a kiss. For real?
Elsewhere, Jacob (Jibre Hordges) and Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) are at odds. Naomi, proud of her family legacy, tells Jacob she’s never been prouder to be a Dupree — and reminds him that last time she checked, he’s one too. She also warns the family: whatever secrets they’re trying to keep buried… might not stay that way for much longer.
And finally, Nicole has it out with Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett). He shocks her with the truth — he’s the one who saved her son. Nicole snaps, calling herself “the fixer” now. Yay, Nicole!
