CBS just pulled back the curtain on a major daytime television moment, announcing a sweeping crossover event between its hit dramas Beyond the Gates and The Young and the Restless. The multi-episode storyline is set to air on Beyond the Gates in June and promises high stakes, familiar faces, and plenty of drama.
The crossover brings six well-known residents of Genoa City into the polished, gated world of Fairmont Crest. At the heart of the event is a long-standing friendship between Vernon Dupree and Victor Newman, two powerful men whose alliance has been built over years of loyalty, influence, and mutual benefit.

Vernon Dupree, played by Clifton Davis, reunites with the legendary Victor Newman, portrayed by Eric Braeden, at a high-profile political fundraiser held in Fairmont Crest.
Victor has supported Vernon’s political ambitions for years, while Vernon has backed legislation that benefited Newman Enterprises. This time, Vernon asks Victor to return the favor in a big way by serving as the keynote speaker for his grandson Martin’s fundraiser.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Martin Dupree (Brandon Claybon), longtime friends who first bonded after college in New York City, cross paths again at the event.
Martin personally invites Kyle, who arrives alongside his parents, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) are also part of the VIP crowd, and Devon soon finds himself fielding an unexpected business opportunity from Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie).

CBS has also unveiled a striking new cast photo for the popular daytime drama Beyond the Gates, now in its second season.
The photo features the ensemble cast, led by the powerful Dupree family alongside the Richardsons and Hamiltons, who live in the posh, gated community Fairmont Crest.
This season, audiences will see a landmark crossover with the hit CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless; Anita’s emotional breast cancer journey, the show’s first engagement, a glamorous Cotillion, a surprise musical guest-star for the Easter episode, plus much more.
Beyond the Gates was recently nominated for two NAACP Image Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Hair Styling (TV or Film).
