Big Brother season 15’s Spencer Clawson is currently recovering after experiencing another esophagus tear and undergoing surgery. Clawson revealed the news on Twitter by saying, “It’s been a rough 6 days, y’all. I tore my esophagus (again) last
Tuesday. They’ve put in a stint to help it heal. My esophagus tear was
due to an allergy and esophageal weakening due to reflux. This has been a
miserable week, but things are beginning to improve. I miss my house“.
For those who may not know, the esophagus is a muscular tube connecting the throat (pharynx) with the stomach. The esophagus is about 8 inches long, and is lined by moist pink tissue called mucosa. The good news is Clawson is on his road to recovery, we wish him a speedy one!
