The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Monday, October 9, 2023

Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, Hope is impacted by Finn’s opinion about Thomas. Deacon stands his ground when Finn makes an astonishing demand.

Hope is feeling the effects of her recent discussion with Finn regarding Thomas. Upon arriving at Forrester Creations, she encounters Brooke, who inquires about her relationship with Thomas. This is after Hope mentions trying to adjust to the new normal with the kids and even work. Hope proceeds to share with Brooke the details of her conversation with Finn. She reveals that Finn believes she deserves someone better than Thomas and mentions that Finn’s knowledge of their situation is limited to the kiss in Rome. Brooke is impressed with Finn’s perspective on the matter and Hope notes how fortunate Steffy is to have such an attentive and supportive partner in Finn.

RJ observes that Luna appears to be upset. He wonders why, but Luna remains tight-lipped, stating that it has nothing to do with work. RJ persists in his efforts to get her to open up, but Luna remains resistant. He assures her that he is not prying, but only wants her to feel secure and at ease. The two exchange affectionate compliments, with Luna expressing her love for fashion and her enjoyment of working with RJ. RJ, for his part, recalls how he had been struggling to find his calling upon returning to LA, until he met Luna.

Deacon and Sheila make a surprising announcement to Finn that they are engaged and in love. Finn is taken aback by the news and expresses his concern, citing that his wife left because of Sheila. Sheila shares that this is the first time someone has loved her for who she is, and Deacon wishes Finn could see how much Sheila has changed. Sheila has a lot of love to give, and she hopes Finn can be happy for them. However, Finn demands that Sheila should leave town if she truly loves him because he fears she will ruin the one thing he cares about the most, his family. Deacon believes in redemption and feels that he can control Sheila, but Finn disagrees. They all know that this relationship will shock everyone, and Finn worries about how Hope will react. After Finn leaves, Deacon and Sheila return to Deacon’s place.

Finn arrives at Forrester Creations and sees Hope. She informs him that she told Brooke about their conversation at his home. Finn brings up their parents but doesn’t come out and tell her that he saw them, leaving Hope with unanswered questions.
