A bombshell, a new side, and more await in the next episode of Bold and the Beautiful.

Here’s what’s coming up on The Bold and the Beautiful for Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Fans can expect Hope to see a new side to her mom and more. Read on as Soap Opera News unpacks all the drama ahead.

The CEO Squeeze: Will Ridge Kick Steffy to the Curb for Brooke?

Tuesday on B&B brings the drama straight to the executive suite. Following his intense conversation with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) finds himself in an absolutely impossible position.

Brooke has made her vision clear: she wants to reign at the company right beside Ridge, mirroring the legendary partnership Eric (John McCook) and Stephanie (Susan Flannery) shared for decades.

While Ridge would love nothing more than to run the fashion empire with his wife by his side, there’s a major catch—she already is there, just not with the title she wants. Brooke is gunning for the Co-CEO chair, and for Ridge to make that happen, he would essentially have to unseat his own daughter.

Naturally, Ridge knows he can’t make a move this big behind Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) back. He has to sit down with her and deliver the news that her stepmother is looking to move into her territory.

Steffy is caught completely off guard by the request, and we are betting she won’t be on board with sharing her power—especially with a Logan. This setup is a recipe for a Forrester-Logan war that could tear the company apart.

Like Mother, Like Daughter: Hope Pulls the Strings as Brooke Aims for the Crown.

Meanwhile, in other parts of town, B&B spoilers for May 12 tease a revealing moment between Hope (Annika Noelle) and Brooke. It was actually Hope who originally encouraged her mother to fight for what she deserves at the company, and she’s thrilled to see that Brooke actually took the advice to heart.

The mother and daughter have a catch-up session where Brooke informs Hope that she did indeed make the official request to Ridge. Hope is seeing a much more assertive and ambitious side of her mother lately, and she seems more than happy to fuel the fire as Brooke makes her play for the top spot.

Same old story, just a different month and year. It really feels like going around in circles. Every time you think something different is finally going to happen, it’s nothing but the same old nonsense. It’s becoming tiresome. I think I’ll start watching something other than The Bold and the Beautiful. At this point, the show should be called “Lost and Confused”!

I don’t like Steffy she’s too arrogant and annoying. But I don’t think Brooke deserves to run Forrester Creactions with Ridge. Put Eric back in the driver’s seat as CO CEO.
