Liam believes that if Hope makes the switch, she’ll finally have more control. Her line could thrive the way it’s supposed to, and she wouldn’t have to answer to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) or Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) anymore.

At the same time, Hope isn’t just thinking about herself. She also feels strongly that her mother, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), hasn’t been given the respect she deserves at the company.

In Hope’s eyes, Brooke should be sitting at the top as co-CEO alongside Ridge, not Steffy. That belief leads her to encourage her mom to speak up and fight for her rightful place at Forrester.
