Today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Undetected at Will’s promotion party, Luna plays Will against Electra. Li lets Sheila know that Luna has given them the slip.
B&B Recap August 18: The Party Begins
The episode kicks off with everything being set up at Il Giardino for Will’s promotion party celebration. He and Electra enter and tell Deacon that the place looks amazing. Deacon notes that he got full instructions and he followed them accordingly. He even goes on to tell them that whatever happens at the restaurant stays at the restaurant.
Will smiles, says ‘alright,’ knowing that he plans to have a good time. As Deacon walks off, Electra notes that the night looks like it’s going to be fun. Will chimes in that it’s going to be electric. As they laugh and enjoy each other’s company, Sheila comes along in the distance, sips from her cup, and looks on.
It’s light, camera, action time at the party. Everyone is greeting each other, even Lainey greets Will and tells him that it’s a great party. She puts in an order for a special martini and congratulates him on his promotion. She invites him to dance, and he tells her he will meet her over there. Electra walks over as Lainey walks off. She kisses her man as he tells her that the only woman he wants to dance with his her.
Luna Gets Ready for Trouble
Elsewhere, Luna looks at a picture of Electra when Li enters and says she’s heading out. Luna tells her that she looks nice, and Li notes that she hates leaving her there, but advises her not to get in any trouble.
She reminds her that no one can know that she’s alive, and they need to keep it that way because she put everything on the line for her. Li reveals that she will be meeting with an attorney soon to discuss the plan for Luna.
Then Luna claims she has a plan of her own. Of course, this sets Li off as she lays down the law. Li leaves, and Luna begins pacing around. Then she opens her drawer, takes out some clothes and a wig, and smiles to herself. You know she’s got something up her sleeve!
A Steamy Moment for Deacon and Sheila
Deacon and Sheila go back to their apartment, and they talk about the party. He mentions how Katie spent a lot of money on the party. Sheila begins flirting with him and queries if they would have to check on anything at the party.
Deacon thinks everything is fine, and they don’t have to be chaperones. They begin kissing and making out. She pauses and says that while they have their party downstairs, they will have one upstairs. You know what that means!
Deacon and Sheila continue kissing and making out before he puts a pause to it and says they have to slow down. He says one of them will have to keep an eye on the thing downstairs. Sheila wonders if they really have to do that. He points out that it’s necessary since the people at the party are young people.
The conversation shifts to how Bill is good at getting people off the hook. Deacon starts talking about Luna and how much of a monstrous mistake it was for her to get into their lives. Sheila knows that, but adds that Luna was her granddaughter. Deacon recalls how Luna was an Intern at Forrester, and never in a million years did he think things would end up like how they did. Sheila wishes she had known Luna sooner. Maybe, just maybe, she could’ve kept her from her terrible actions.
Sheila knows that Luna had no one and not that it matters anymore. Because there’s nothing Luna can do to make up for what she did. Deacon tells her they don’t have to talk about this anymore. Sheila says it’s a good idea because she feels like she’s gonna upset him because she had a connection with Luna. Sheila insists that Luna deserves a better life.
Will and Electra Dance
As the party goes on, Will and Electra take the dance floor, and so do many others. Then, here comes Luna sporting her disguise. Zende comes in and congratulates Will on the promotion. He promises to help if he ever needs it. Luna goes to the bar and pretends to be one of the servers. While keeping her face hidden, she serves through the party.
Everyone raises glasses and cheers to Will’s promotion. Zende brings in a basket full of masks and gives everyone to put on. Of course, Electra and Will take note of the mask that they got, and then they kiss as Luna looks on and remembers her fantasy kiss with Will.
Luna and the waiter discuss drinks, and he points out that they need to get rid of one of the alcoholic drinks because he doesn’t want anyone to mistake it for vodka soda. He heads off, and while her back is turned, Will comes and puts in an order for a vodka soda. Luna smiles to herself and pours the alcohol as she spikes his drink.
Electra clinks her glass and interrupts everybody just to say congratulations to Toni and her amazing boyfriend. He tells her that’s a very nice toast. She asks him to get her another drink for her and he heads over to the bar. Will orders another martini for Electra and then another vodka soda for himself. Luna decides to take care of the vodka soda while the other server deals with the martini. Again, Luna spikes his drink without him, knowing.
Deacon comes to check on the party, and Will expresses his gratitude. Will insist this party is the best and shake hands with Deacon. Will drinks away the spiked beverage that Luna made for him while she looks over there and smiles. She bites her lips.
Will and Electra kiss and exchange ‘I love yous’. He reminds her to never doubt that, as he continues to sip his spiked vodka unbeknownst to him. Over at the bar, Luna says, “Will Spencer, tonight is your lucky night,” with a smirk on her face.
B&B Recap August 18: Li Gets a Bad Feeling
Li returns to the location and speaks to Luna, thinking she is there, but as she looks around, she realizes Luna isn’t there and begins to get frantic.
Sheila’s painting her toes when Li calls. Sheila sighs before answering. However, as she does, Li first asks if she’s alone. Once Sheila confirms that she is, Li drops the news that Luna is gone. (Photo Credit: CBS Screenshot.)
