B&B Recap December 2: Dylan’s Confession
Dylan explains that she didn’t mean to do it. She didn’t mean to kill Luna. It was a tragic accident. “I’m so sorry I killed your daughter,” she tells Finn.
Dylan explains she would never, ever hurt anyone. It all happened so fast. She begs and pleads with Finn to believe her.
Dylan knows Luna did some terrible things to her, but she insists she’d never take revenge. Electra knows that. She tells Dylan she’s a good person.
Finn explains that Luna had chance after chance to change, and she wouldn’t. He knows Dylan is a wonderful person. Finn approaches her and tells her Hayes adores her, and so do they. He believes she’s sorry, and she hugs him.
Finn wishes he had been a part of Luna’s life from the beginning, but he wasn’t. He encourages Dylan not to beat herself up. She has a full life ahead of her, and she should reclaim it. Electra believes she will, and both she and Will promise to be there for her.
Will and Electra head back to the beach house. She wonders if she should have followed Dylan, but Will thinks she’ll be fine. They hope she’ll get through it, just like they are. Meanwhile, at the beach house, Finn tells Steffy how much he just wants to move past everything that happened.
Katie Has Ideas
At Forrester Creations, Brooke tells Ridge she still has to pinch herself. She can’t believe they’re still together after all these years… and married.
He tells her this is their final time, that they’ll stay married until his last breath. As they kiss, Katie walks in and apologizes for interrupting. She’s not exactly surprised to find the two of them in each other’s arms.
Katie is happy to be back at work. Ridge says he still can’t believe he is saying this. However, he has to acknowledge that Bill is actually stepping up and being the dad Will deserves.
Katie thanks him for saying that. She’s there to pitch some ideas to him and Steffy, but Ridge explains Steffy isn’t around, so she can pitch those ideas to him and Brooke instead.
Katie starts outlining her PR strategy regarding the Luna situation. Ridge notes that some of these ideas are things the outside PR firm already implemented, and they’re working.
Katie says she’s ready to be back and step into her role as head of PR for FC, but she starts sensing something’s off. She asks what it is. Ridge explains that the PR firm is doing their job, and they don’t think they really need to change anything right now.
Katie looks extremely disappointed. She is disappointed that she’s not hearing any support from Brooke. She wonders if she’s now co-CEO and if Steffy has been pushed aside. Ridge explains that they’re sorry, they’re not trying to go against her. They are just doing what’s best for the company.
Bill Wants Will and Katie at SP
Liam notes that Katie loves her work in PR, and Bill agrees. She’s damn good at it. Liam points out she’s good at a lot of things. Bill adds that she’s also been a great mom to Will.
Liam encourages his dad not to sell himself short; he was there as a father, too. He was there for Will through the whole Luna saga, and he was there when Liam thought he might be dying.
Bill reminds him that he’ll do anything for his sons. “And Katie,” Liam adds. Bill says he thinks she’s being wasted at FC and that she should give Forrester the boot and come work with them at Spencer.
Later, after finishing a call, Bill knows Liam is impressed by the new-and-improved version of him — but he admits it isn’t easy. He just wants to be the best he can be for his family and for Katie. He’s grateful she put her heart on the line for him, and he promises he won’t break it. She’s the best thing that ever happened to him and his three sons. He thinks she deserves to be appreciated, especially at FC.
Liam talks to his dad, who seems a million miles away. Bill gets up to leave, and Liam wonders where he’s going. “To Forrester Creations to check on Katie,” he says.
B&B Recap Dec 2: Bill Goes to FC
In the CEO’s office, Brooke worries about how Katie feels, and Ridge adds that it was just a professional decision.
Across the hall, Katie struggles to focus on work when Bill comes in. He tells her how Charlie asked him for an ID, then notices something’s off. Katie explains it’s Ridge and Brook. She feels disappointed because she expected more support from her sister.
But she shouldn’t be surprised; it’s always been Ridge and Brooke. Bill reminds her that she’s a powerhouse and encourages her to come join Spencer Publications, her real family company.
