B&B Recap November 11: Li Checks in with Sheila
Li checks in with Sheila at Il Giardino. The place is busy, and Sheila tells her it’s open mic night and that she should stick around. Li asks how much she owes her, but Sheila insists the pizza is on the house—it’s the least she can do for a friend. Sheila notes how good things are lately and says she’s thrilled that Deacon is back with her. She admits she can’t imagine life without him.
Sheila reveals that Deacon is going to continue seeing Taylor and if it means it will continue to help him, then she is all for it.
Li tells Sheila that she’s happy for her. Sheila says she wishes Deacon’s kids could feel the same way. She reveals that Taylor is having a family session with them today and adds that since Taylor did such a good job with Deacon, maybe she can work her magic on his kids, too.
Li reminds Sheila that she’s come a long way—especially considering she once said she’d kill Taylor if she got involved with Deacon. Sheila laughs it off, insisting she wasn’t serious. She adds that Taylor is a professional and would never get involved with a patient.
Taylor Has a Family Session with Deacon
In Taylor’s office, she holds a family meeting with Deacon, Hope, and Deke. They discuss Sheila, and Hope says she hopes Taylor told Deacon that it doesn’t make any sense for him to go back to her.
Deacon’s children worry that he has gone back to a woman he shouldn’t have. However, Deacon defends Sheila. He insists she is not the woman she was in the past.
They think Taylor should tell him that there is a better woman out there for him, a woman he is worthy of.
Hope and Deke can’t help but acknowledge their dad is nothing like the woman he’s married to.
They want him to reach his full potential, but with Sheila around, that doesn’t seems possible. Hope highlights that they are not trying to attack him. This is all coming from a place of love. She knows he wants to see the best in Sheila, but sometimes people don’t change.
Hope and Deke urge their dad to get out now, before it’s too late. They tell him that the sooner he does, the sooner he can find someone new. After Hope and Deke leave, Taylor talks with Deacon. She reminds him that his kids love him, and he agrees. Taking her hands, Deacon admits that he’s in the best place of his life, and a big part of that is because of her.
Zende Questions Carter
At the office, Zende goes on and on about the progress at the company. He acknowledges that she’s an amazing woman and wonders if there have been any developments between Carter and Daphne.
Carter notes that Daphne has decided that he must work and prove himself to be worthy of her love.
Steffy and Daphne Catch Up
Steffy tells Daphne they need a girls’ night out. She knows Daphne has some kids’ events coming up, plus the hospital gala. Daphne laughs and says they could have gone out back when Steffy wasn’t married and had no kids—my, how things have changed.
Steffy then teases her, wondering what’s been happening now that a certain COO seems interested in her friend. She asks if things have changed between Carter and Daphne since he’s no longer with Hope.
Daphne admits there’s no secret about how she feels about Carter. She says she could have handled Hope, but Carter saw himself as her protector. Daphne explains that she’s never been one to wear her heart on her sleeve, but not anymore. If Carter wants her, he’ll have to prove he’s the man for her.
Daphne notes that she made the first move before, but not anymore. Steffy promises her friend that she has her full support.
B&B Recap Nov. 11: Daphne’s Gonna Sing
Just then, Zende and Carter walk in. Carter reveals that he stopped by Il Giardino and discovered that Daphne had been wooing the crowd with her voice.
Daphne smiles and admits she’s singing again tonight. Zende immediately says he’ll be there, and Carter adds that he wouldn’t miss it for the world, making Daphne blush.
Daphne says she should be heading out. They ask if Steffy is coming, but she explains she still has work to do. Steffy mentions that her mom loves Daphne’s music and suggests she text Taylor to invite her to the show.
Sheila tells Daphne how happy they are to have her back—her last performance was so beautiful. As they set up, Deacon arrives, and Sheila assures him that they’ve got everything under control. She then asks how his session went.
Later, Taylor arrives at the restaurant. Deacon wonders what she’s doing there. Taylor says Steffy texted her to tell her that Daphne would be singing. Sheila then takes time to thank Taylor for helping to repair her marriage.
Sheila knows they had the family session today, and she can only imagine what Hope and Deke had to say about her. She hopes that one day they can be one big happy family. Right then and there, Sheila kisses Deacon and reminds him that she loves him so much and will not allow anyone or anything to separate them.
Meanwhile, at the office, Hope reveals to Steffy that she was in family therapy with Taylor, and she has helped her dad so much.
