B&B Recap October 8: Heated Confrontation at the Spencer Estate

B&B Recap October 8: Ridge and Taylor Confront Li

Li is stunned when Ridge and Taylor pay her a visit. Li is apologetic and remorseful. She calls Luna ungrateful, saying that instead of taking the opportunity for a second chance, Luna stabbed her in the back and reverted to her old ways.

Taylor worries that Luna could end up hurting Hayes. Li already feels bad enough. Ridge is furious. He says this is all because of Li’s stupid judgment, and now Luna is living it up at Bill’s.

Li says saving a life was her obligation—as a doctor and as a grandmother. She admits she doesn’t know what she was thinking when she took Luna out of the hospital.

Ridge doesn’t want to hear it. He doesn’t care that Luna is pregnant; he insists she’ll have that baby in prison. The only thing he cares about is keeping his family safe. He and Taylor leave, and Li breaks down in tears.

Luna Updates Finn on Her Living Arrangement

Finn cannot believe that Luna is pregnant with Will’s baby. Luna asks if Finn has an OBGYN. Finn says yes, the one they assign in prison. He wonders how she is not locked up. Luna explains it’s Bill.

Finn is stunned that Bill moved Luna back into the mansion. Luna says she’s carrying something precious—a Spencer heir.

Luna is MIA

Bill is upset. He tries to find someone to run a paternity test. Katie suggests they use Bridget. He knows he’s partly to blame for all of this. He tells Katie that without her, he kind of loses his way and that he needs her. Katie tells him they have bigger things to worry about—Luna. She hopes Luna is locked up in her room and decides to go check.

Katie comes back and notes Luna is nowhere to be found. Bill searches and makes calls, desperate to find Luna. Katie thinks there’s nothing to worry about—Luna wouldn’t put herself at risk.

Then Luna walks in, and they start questioning her. She explains she had to see someone. Finn storms in, furious. He can’t believe Bill. “You moved Luna back into your house after everything she’s done? What are you thinking?” he asks.

Finn is stunned as they confirm Luna is pregnant. They tell him they’re working on getting a paternity test. Luna sees this as her second chance, but Finn shuts it down. He tells her it doesn’t change anything. All he can think about is keeping his wife and kids safe from her.

Finn lays down the law to Luna—even if she’s pregnant, he doesn’t care. He makes it clear she’s not welcome in their lives. Moments later, Ridge and Taylor walk in. Ridge doesn’t waste time. He says this madness ends today—pregnant or not, Luna is going back to prison.

Hope Needs a New Designer

Hope questions Deke. Says he’s been MIA on social media. He gets distracted for a moment when he gets a text from Remy asking if he’s at Forrester.

Hope wants to know about this mystery man in his life. Hope then reveals she has to get a new designer for Hope for the Future.

Deke thinks that’s huge. Hope explains that everyone has other work and Thomas can’t commute back and forth from Paris, plus all the things that happened between them. “Let’s just say Thomas and I have a lot of history,” she says.

It’s a shame, because he has a lot of talent. However, Deke thinks Hope will be drowning in applications since a lot of designers will want to be part of HFTF.

Deke studies a few designs for Hope and offers some advice on how to fix them. He pauses, hoping he’s not overstepping, but admits he loves fashion.

B&B Recap October 8: Deke Wants to Design

Hope tells him it’s okay. He leans in and asks for help. He’s been laser-focused on fashion, and now that he has his degree, he wants to prove himself. He’s ready to break into the industry. He already talked to their dad about reaching out to Brooke, and now he’s hoping Hope can help him get into the family business.

Hope agrees, but adds that she’ll soon be looking for a new designer. Curious, Deke asks if any big names have applied. Hope explains she’s reviewing submissions anonymously to keep things fair. Just then, her phone pings.

She checks it and says she has to head to a meeting. Before leaving, she suggests they all have dinner with Deacon soon and advises him not to get into any trouble. As she walks out, Deke quickly snaps a few photos of the designs. Is he planning to apply anonymously?
