The big question is asked – is fan fvorite, Alison Sweeney returning to ‘Days of Our Lives’ as Sami Brady? The answer is yes – a recent post to her Instagram account could confirm fans’ speculation. A leaked audition tape led to speculation that the character of EJ DiMera was being brought back to the canvas when the audition tape of Gabriel Miller auditioning for a role on the NBC daytime drama with a script involving the characters of; Chad DiMera [Billy Flynn] and EJ. Subsequently the rumor started that Sweeny could be back at ‘Days’.
Her recent Instagram post read: “Going, going, back, back to…Salem! So excited! Thanks for the love”. In the video clip Sweeney revealed that she will be taping her scenes in a few weeks. According to Soap Opera Digest, Sweeney will be back for an extended period taping in May/June and set to air in October. Though it’s not know what brings Sami back to Salem, In her video post she encouraged fans to tune in to see what happens!
