The role of Emma Scorpio-Drake is now being played by Braedyn Bruner, who made her debut on December 23 on General Hospital. While the character was born onscreen in 2008 and played by child actors, the role has been most prominently played by Brooklyn Rae Silzer since 2011. Having made her last appearance on the show in 2023, Silzer took to social media today with a message for her fans.
Her message read: “To my amazing General Hospital family who have supported me and watched me grow up over the years as Emma I am forever grateful.
Although sad my time as Emma has come to an end I will cherish all of my memories and friendships made. I am so lucky to have been casted as Emma 13 years ago and to have had the opportunity to grow her character over the years.”
Silzer continued, “I so exited to see how Braedyn takes care of Emma and bring new layers to her character. I am forever thankful to General Hospital and Emma will always hold a special place in my heart.”
