Chase Opens up to Willow at the Gym
On today’s episode of General Hospital, at the gym, Chase tells Willow he’s been talking things over with a lawyer. The lawyer advised him to move back into the Quartermaine mansion. Willow admits she didn’t realize he had decided to get a divorce.
However, Chase explains he hasn’t made that final decision yet. “I can’t imagine being under the same roof as Brook Lynn right now,” he admits. Willow understands completely. She knows there is nothing harder than fighting over a marriage and children with someone you love. She reveals that she was afraid to move back in at first, too.
However, it ultimately turned out well for her. She suggests that moving back in might do the same for him. As a friend, she encourages him to make the move, especially for his daughter’s sake.
Monet Faces off with Tracy
Meanwhile, over at the Quartermaines’, Tracy advises Monet to call her lawyers. Monet counters that she only came to give Tracy a chance to spare her granddaughter a lot of grief. Tracy makes it clear she has no intention of letting Chase move back in. She adds that Monet’s threats won’t hold up in court.
After all, it was Chase’s choice to walk out on her granddaughter. Monet warns that if Chase isn’t allowed back in, she will file for legal separation. A custody suit will immediately follow. She doubts Tracy wants to be responsible for keeping her great-granddaughter away from her mother half the time.
Tracy doubts any judge would take an infant from the only home she’s ever known. Monet begs to differ. She promises that if Tracy doesn’t force Chase to move back in, she will have no choice but to escalate things.
Jordan Confronts Justine
Over at the Metro Court Gardens, Justine meets with Jordan. Jordan reveals that she saw Justine and Sonny kissing. “What the hell were you thinking?” Jordan asks. Justine explains that things are complicated. However, she makes it clear she isn’t willing to sacrifice her career for Sonny.
Jordan agrees with her. She cares about Justine, but she warns that if they keep seeing each other, they need to be much smarter about it. Justine promises she won’t get caught again. She admits this conversation has been a real wake-up call. Jordan is glad Sonny seems to be turning over a new leaf. Still, she worries Justine’s professional reputation will take a hit if their relationship goes public.
Sidwell Tries to Recruit Alexis
Inside Pentonville, Alexis meets with a new client. As she prepares to leave, she runs into Sidwell. He begs for a moment of her time, but she can’t imagine what they’d possibly have to talk about. “I’m going to hire you to get me out of this place,” he says. Alexis scoffs at the request. Sidwell argues that he needs her help before Sonny’s men target him and finish him off.
Alexis quickly reminds him of his own past deeds. He shot Lucas and Ethan Lovett, held Justine at gunpoint, and firebombed her daughter’s business. She calls him a loathsome pig. “No more than Willow Tait,” he points out. He reminds her that she still chose to represent Willow.
Sonny and Ava Clash Over Avery
At Sonny’s place, he and Ava get into a heated argument over Avery. The fight begins when he announces he’s taking Donna and Avery to New York. “That is not going to happen!” Ava warns. She reveals she had already planned a special mother-daughter weekend to take Avery to the New York Ballet.
She argues that Avery would much rather go with her. Ava also points out that pulling their daughter out of school without consent violates their custody agreement. Sonny dismisses the agreement entirely, saying it means nothing to him.
Ava threatens to take him back to court to enforce it. “I will fight you with everything I have,” she warns. Sonny fires back, “You go ahead and try. But I’m telling you this—you’re going to regret it.” He threatens to expose her as a murderer to the whole world.
However, Ava reminds him he has far more blood on his hands than she does. Sonny then warns he will turn Avery against her unless she yields. In response, Ava calls the school to give permission for Avery to be out for a couple of days.
Michael and Drew Agree on a Few Things
Finally, at Aurora, Drew arrives and tells Michael he saw Chase with Willow. Michael couldn’t care less. Still, Drew recalls how agonizing it was to be trapped in a wheelchair for months while watching his wife make eyes at Chase.
Michael insists he has no desire to dwell on the past or what Willow did to him. He is moving on. Drew admits he lost more than just a marriage. This prompts Michael to acknowledge that Drew took a heavy hit. “You paid a pretty high price for getting involved with her, didn’t you?” Michael asks. Drew owns up to hurting a lot of people.
He explains that reflecting on his past taught him a valuable lesson. Since he can’t change what happened, he needs to focus on the future. He believes he, Michael, and Jordan make a strong team that can take Aurora to the next level. Michael reminds him that while he agreed to work together, that is where the line is drawn. He emphasizes that he still doesn’t trust Drew.
Drew meets with Ava, Michael Meets with Tracy
Later, Drew arrives at the Metro Court Gardens and approaches Jordan, who lets him know she is waiting to meet with Adam. Drew then steps over to join Ava.
Meanwhile, Michael goes to see Tracy, who tells him Chase is already on his way. She explains that he has lawyered up and is moving back into the mansion on his counsel’s advice. Michael immediately warns her against it, believing Tracy shouldn’t allow the move. “Whatever you do, don’t let him move back in,” he urges her.
Willow is relaxing in the steam room when Chase walks in. He tells her he has made his choice, and they immediately begin kissing and making out. However, the moment suddenly vanishes. It turns out to be nothing more than a daydream of Willow’s.
Chase arrives at the Quartermaines’ and meets with Tracy. She tells him she hopes he will be considerate of his wife. Chase notes that he doesn’t want to make things harder for anyone, then leaves to go unpack. Michael immediately insists that letting him stay is a huge mistake.
On the contrary, Tracy believes having him in the house works to their advantage. She explains that once Chase commits adultery, her granddaughter will have everything she needs to win full custody. Hearing this, Michael changes his tune. “How can I help?” he asks.
Jordan is Monet’s Big Sister
Plus, Justine meets with Sonny and tells him their secret is out. At least, Jordan knows about them.
At the MC Gardens, Jordan finishes up a call. She is heading out when she encounters Monet. “Well, well, well, if it isn’t my big sis,” Monet says.
