Cary Christopher (Thomas DiMera, Days of our Lives) is among the recurring cast for the upcoming MGM+ and Prime Video live-action series, Spider-Noir.

The upcoming series is based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir. Also among the recurring cast are Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Michael Kostroff, Lukas Hass, Scott MacArthur, and Cameron Britton. The leading cast for the upcoming series includes Nicolas Cage, Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, Abraham Popoola, Li Jun Li, and Jack Huston.

Spider-Noir tells the story of an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero. The series comes from executive producers/co-showrunners Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot and Sony Pictures TV. It is produced by Sony Pictures Television exclusively for MGM+ and Prime Video. Harry Bradbeer is set to direct, and executive produce the first two episodes.

Uziel and Lightfoot developed the series with the Academy Award-winning team behind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal. Lord and Miller executive produce for their shingle Lord Miller. Amy Pascal will also serve as an executive producer via Pascal Pictures.

Spider-Noir will debut domestically on MGM+’s linear channel and globally on Prime Video.

There’s no word yet on who Cary Christopher will be playing, but stay tuned for updates. Meanwhile, ABC’s new series, High Potential, will feature Christopher.
