The Young and the Restless alum, Chris McKenna and his wife Lovisa have announced that they are expecting their first child. They shared this exciting news on Instagram, saying, “My amazing wife and (the less amazing) I have been waiting to announce this. We’re very excited. Baby McKenna is coming this summer.” Along with the announcement, the couple also shared a gender reveal video. In the video, Chris McKenna expressed his desire to have a boy to carry on the McKenna name, as the last generation had only girls. Fortunately, the balloon that Lovisa popped in the video revealed that they are indeed having a boy.
McKenna and Lovisa tied the knot a while back during the pandemic. At the time they shared, “We’re married!! Can’t keep it a secret any longer. We eloped during the pandemic and will have a proper ceremony in future. I’m so happy, I’m so proud, and so very deeply in love with this woman. Min älskling. Alltid. Introducing the incredible, the brilliant, the amazing Mrs. Lovisa McKenna.”
McKenna is best known for playing Joey Buchanan on One Life to Live and Detective Mark Harding on The Young and the Restless.
