The Young and the Restless has added a new recurring player to the canvas. Actor Coby Larinde made his debut on the CBS soap on May 28 as a paramedic during the intense scenes involving Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) overdose and emergency trip to the hospital.
Following the episode, Established Artists, the company representing Larinde, celebrated the actor’s debut on Instagram.
“Don’t miss our very own Coby Larinde @coby_larinde in his recurring role on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS! His first episode airs today,” the post read.

Coby Larinde Has Built an Impressive Resume
Larinde may be new to Genoa City, but viewers may already recognize him from several other television projects.
The actor is known for appearances in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Night Court, and Domino Springs. He also recently worked alongside Lisa Kudrow doing voiceover work for Jack & Lou.
According to his official bio, Larinde was born in Los Angeles and spent much of his childhood involved in musical theater, where he developed his passion for performing.
He later attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned degrees in both neuroscience and theater.
A Growing Career in Television
Beyond his television credits, Larinde has also appeared in several USC Film School projects, where he worked with comedy professor and Emmy-winning director Barnet Kellman.
His team describes him as someone who brings “curiosity, energy, and a genuine love of storytelling” to every project he joins.
Larinde is currently represented by Established Artists, a full-service talent management company with clients across multiple entertainment markets in the United States.
Now, fans will have to wait and see how long his recurring role on The Young and the Restless lasts and whether his character becomes more involved in future storylines.
