This week’s (August 7-11, 2023) Couple of the Week is General Hospital’s Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam (Kelly Monaco), or Sante as their fans call them.
Sam and Dante are one of the few stable and happy couples on GH right now and with his being a police officer and her being a PI, as well as them being either related or friends with most of the people in town, they each spend a fair amount of time helping others. This week got they got a rare evening at home together and Sam decided to capitalize on it, telling Dante work time was over and confiscating his laptop.
He willingly let her and wasted no time getting down to a fun time with his lady love but then Sam put on the brakes, wanting to talk to him about Maxie moving into his empty house with her kids. They discussed it and Dante agreed that it was a good idea before picking up where he had left off before she had stopped him.
They were interrupted again by a call from Dante’s partner Chase (Josh Swickard), telling him that his mother (Lisa LoCicero) was in police custody after getting into a bar fight. Dante left to sign her out and by the time he got home, Sam was already asleep. He took a moment to admire her before climbing into bed and snuggling against her. Sam woke up and their fans were treated to a beautiful love scene.
