This week’s (August 14-18, 2023) Couple of the Week is The Young and the Restless’ Tucker (Trevor St. John) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson).
Tucker and Ashley have had a long road to get back together. After the way he broke her heart the last time they were together, she was very reluctant to give him another shot. Tucker didn’t give up though and he proved his devotion. The fact that Ashley needed him to hit back against her brother Jack (Peter Bregman) for getting back together with Diane (Susan Walters) didn’t hurt either.
This week the couple made it down the aisle and the vows were said and Tucker very happily kissed his bride. Toasts were made and Jack even delivered a very nice wedding gift to his sister, giving her back control of her company to end their war. Later, in the honeymoon suite, the happy couple toasted to their future and expressed their love before sharing a dance.
The next morning started off rocky when Ashley confronted Tucker about going to Audra’s room the night before, thinking he had cheated on her. When he explained what really happened she backed down and they made plans to move out of her family home, into a place of their own, for a fresh start on their future together.
