Charlotte Tries to Sway Lulu
On today’s episode of General Hospital, Charlotte tells her parents just how unfair it is for them to ship her off to boarding school! However, Valentin notes that she needs an environment with more structure and constant supervision. Charlotte fires back that she doesn’t need any of that, but her dad isn’t having it. “All the stunts you pulled say otherwise,” he snaps.
He adds that St. Agatha’s is an excellent school, but Charlotte quickly points out that it isn’t even in the state—it’s all the way in Maine! She also tries to argue that the school year has already started, so it’s way too late. “You’ve already been accepted,” Valentin points out, revealing that arrangements have already been made and the school is fully expecting her.
“I’m sorry, Charlotte,” he says. “I don’t like this any more than you do, but this is for your own good,” he adds. Charlotte definitely doesn’t think so. In fact, she thinks he’s just doing this to punish her when she was only doing what he taught her to do.
The Deal is Sealed
Charlotte turns to Lulu and begs to move back home with her. Lulu asks to speak with Charlotte alone. Charlotte then promises her mom that she will do everything she says. However, Lulu points out that she asked to speak with her daughter alone not to take her side, but to tell her that she needs to go to boarding school before something bad happens and she ruins her life.
Referring to the plot against Drew, Lulu asks, “You wanted to paint him as a predator. What if he showed you what a predator really is?” She points out that this is not a punishment. She tearfully wants her daughter to take time to see the person she wants to be. “I don’t want to leave,” Charlotte says in tears. However, Lulu promises she doesn’t have to be worried; they will all be there when she gets back. Charlotte admits she understands why they are doing this and begs to at least say goodbye to Danny before she leaves.
Justine Gets a Shocking Call
Elsewhere, Sonny and Justine are in bed talking about their relationship. She wonders if they are more exposed than they realized, but he doesn’t think they need to be worried. Sonny warns that all they have to do is be careful.
Justine adds that they need to be honest with each other, and if either of them feels things are getting too risky, they should walk away. Nonetheless, they kiss as she promises that she isn’t going anywhere.
Later, Justine gets a call from Dante, who needs her to come down to GH. He warns her that two high-profile prisoners from Pentonville were brought in, and he needs to fill her in on the details.
Anna Meets with Tristan
Meanwhile, Emma thanks Gio for last night. They are at the Metro Court Gardens when she spots Anna with Tristan. “Who’s the guy that’s with her?” she asks herself. She begs Gio to distract her with something interesting. To that end, he reveals that he and Trina are moving forward with their music, except his mom won’t be involved.
At the table, Anna talks to Tristan. She informs him that Chief Baines spoke to her and she will be able to seek treatment from a civilian doctor, so she doesn’t have to impose anymore. He thinks that is good news. However, he notes that if she needs anything, she can come to him.
Valentin Opens up to Anna
Later, Anna walks over to Gio and Emma’s table. Emma asks about the guy, but Anna decides to leave out the details and says she will see Emma at home. Just as she is heading out, she runs into Valentin. She picks up on the vibe that something is wrong and asks about it. “I’m a terrible dad,” he reveals. He opens up about what’s going on with Charlotte.
Anna assures him that he is doing the right thing for his daughter.
Gio Turns to Sonny for Advice
At the same time, Sonny meets with Emma and Gio because Gio wanted some career advice from him.
Carly Turns to Lucas
Carly goes to visit her brother, but Joe opens the door. “So, how do you like living with my brother?” she asks. Before Joe can respond, Lucas enters and tells him not to answer. Carly shows her brother all the things she brought over. Lucas offers to pour Joe a glass, but Joe has to leave because his shift at work is about to start. As Joe leaves, Carly tells Lucas she needs a reality check and he is the only one who will give it to her. Carly then opens up about what is going on with Charlotte.
Sidwell and Curtis Are Rushed to the Hospital
At the hospital, Dionne and Isaiah race to attend to a patient. Isaiah is shocked when he sees that it’s Curtis. Isaiah offers to back off and get him another doctor, but Curtis notes he is okay with Isaiah treating him.
Meanwhile, Liz informs Dante that the two prisoners who were attacked are Jenz Sidwell and Curtis Ashford. She reveals that Sidwell keeps slipping in and out of consciousness. As Dante enters to talk with Sidwell first, he realizes just how bad things are seeing him for himself. Dante asks who did this to him. “Who do you think?” he fires back. Just then, Isaiah enters and tells Dante that he cannot be in there. After, he asks Liz to page Dr. Roberts.
Joe arrives, and Dante asks him to handle the case since he may have a conflict of interest. Later, Isaiah returns to Curtis to talk about the tests and warns Curtis not to get too comfortable. He also asks if there is someone Curtis wants him to call, but Curtis says no because he doesn’t want to worry anyone.
Justine arrives at the hospital, and Dante tells her what happened, including the fact that he has to remove himself from the case due to a potential conflict of interest. He could be wrong, but they won’t know until Curtis or Sidwell starts talking. “Well, let’s get some answers then,” Justine says.
Later, Dante opens up to Liz. He notes he thinks his dad is responsible for this. Meanwhile, Sidwell starts coding. At the same time, Joe and Justine speak with Curtis. He inform them that three men attacked Sidwell and he tried to intervened but they attacked him as well. He notes the men made it clear that this was Sonny’s orders.
Rocco Shares Bad News with Danny
Over at the Q boathouse, Rocco meets with Danny. Rocco tells him that Charlotte is meeting with her mom. He notes that Carly found them, he told her everything, and now Charlotte is in huge trouble. Rocco reveals another problem: when he got Danny’s text, Scout was with him, though he doesn’t think she is going to say anything to Drew.
Danny thinks Drew finding out would be the worst thing that could happen. Danny thanks Rocco for his help and says he is glad they can still count on each other when it matters.
Charlotte races to Danny and tells him that she is going to boarding school. She blames Rocco, believing that if he had just kept his mouth shut, this wouldn’t be happening. “I don’t wanna leave,” she admits. Danny is just glad she is not going back to Europe. They hug it out.
Meanwhile, Rocco goes home and Lulu informs him that his sister is going to boarding school.
