Days of Our Lives’ Gilles Marini (Ted Laurent) has suffered a heartbreaking loss. He reported via Instagram that his good friend and neighbor passed away. He shared a few pictures with the caption, “RIP. This is my good friend and Neighbor who just passed away. It was with a very heavy heart that I said my last good bye yesterday. I had the honor to spend a lot of time with him; countless hours spent talking about old movies, life and doctor appointments. Your 30-something stair climb with your wheelchair was always an adventure. You were denied dignity these past few years and I don’t know if I can ever forgive those responsible. I wish I could have done more. Death can be so lonely. Please people, take care of your parents until the end. I’m torn— I was washing you and I was a stranger in your life. You will always have a special place in my heart. Thank God I was given the gift of taking care of my father and the gift of you being in my life, S.” We send our condolences.
