It’s an incredible day for Marci Miller who plays the role of Abigail DiMera on ‘Days of Our Lives’. This day holds a special memory for her as it marks her very first appearance on the NBC daytime drama. Miller stepped on the ‘Days’ scenes on November 10, 2016, taking over the role from former portrayer, Kate Mansi.
In her entrance scenes, Abigail returned to Salem to spy on her loved ones after she was presumed dead. After sneaking into the DiMera mansion to return Thomas’ teddy, Andre (Thaao Penghlis) approached her as it was revealed that Andre was helping her all along.
Since her debut, Miller has grown on us and has quickly become a fan favorite, one we would have loved to see stick around. Nevertheless, she opted not to renew a contract with the NBC soap as she pursues other opportunities. Throughout her two year run, she has shown viewers exactly why she deserves a spot in their hearts with her numerous display of emotional range through stories depicting mental health and DID. This being her very first daytime role, Miller has done a superb job. She even earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series this year.
