Days of our Lives Recap April 3, 2024: Today on Days of our Lives – Xander and Sarah go to Rafe to prove his innocence. Everett tells Stephanie what he saw when he was hypnotized. Jada is skeptical. Tripp realizes Wendy is suffering from trauma. Ava and Harris have a private date.

It’s date night! Ava and Harris head to the Bistro. She mentions that she was with Tripp and Wendy having dinner the night Stefan shot him.
Let’s Dance
Ava whips up this amazing dish and they sit down at the table with a meal and some fine wine as they dig in. Before moving on to dessert, Harris suggests a dance and takes Ava on her feet to dance.
While they’re dancing, Harris asks when she’s going to open back up, and Ava informs him that she’s done with the Bistro. This place almost wrecked her life. So, she’s going to find another job, a legit one this time, because she’s never going back to that life.

At home, Wendy’s really struggling with the trauma she’s been through. Tripp’s doing his best to keep her calm. He suggests playing Jenga to take her mind off things.
So, as they sit down to play, Wendy starts talking about how people make impulsive decisions in tough situations, like how they “got married” when they were kidnapped.
I Can’t Do This
Tripp reassures her of his love and they chat about their past relationships and first loves. They’re both thankful that those experiences led them to each other. Tripp suggests putting their bear tank wedding behind them and proposes having a date right then and there.
They drink some beer and try to move on, but Wendy can’t shake it off. She has a panic attack and feels stuck, unable to get past the kidnapping.

Stephanie bumps into Everett at the Brady Pub. He tells her all about his hypnosis session with Marlena, claiming he remembered something but can’t quite wrap his head around it.
Just then, Jada shows up and jumps to conclusions, thinking the two are reigniting their old flame. Everett shares about his hypnosis experience, mentioning how he had a sudden recollection of himself smiling.
Jada chuckles but remains upset with him. Stephanie tries to calm the situation and encourages Jada to understand what Everett is going through. However, Jada is adamant about seeing Bobby Stein for who he truly is.
Rafe Has Shocking News to Share
Everett confides in Stephanie that he thinks it’s best to keep his distance from Jada. He expresses his continued love for Stephanie and his belief in the possibility of a future together.
Meanwhile, as Jada hangs out at the bar, Rafe shows up and she suggests they leave, but he has some news to share. Rafe divulges that his old buddy in Seattle uncovered some information: Jada’s divorce papers were never properly filed, meaning she’s still married to Robert Stein.

So, Sarah walks in the door, and Xander invites her to check out what he found. He found some evidence—it turns out the shooter’s sweatpants were fancier, more expensive and had a bigger stripe than his.
So, Sarah and Xander dash over to Rafe at the station to show him, and Rafe notes this changes everything. Xander’s on cloud nine, knowing he’s finally proved his innocence. They head home, feeling pretty darn joyful about the whole thing. Once they put Victoria to bed, Sarah and Xander chat about the beautiful life they’ve built together.
