The latest Days of Our Lives episode on October 7, 2026, was absolute chaotic perfection—we had Sarah Horton hitting up Tate Black to take Joy Wesley on as a gym client, Leo Stark getting dragged off in cuffs, poor little Rachel Black needing emergency surgery, and Rita Lesley having the nerve to threaten EJ DiMera right in his own living room!
Why Was Leo Arrested on Days of Our Lives October 7?
Leo was just hanging out in his suite at the Salem Inn, catching up with Javi on the phone as their dinner plans got pushed back. Javi suggested lunch instead, but Leo’s good day took a bad dive real quick.
Shawn popped in and spotted the counterfeit purses sitting right there! Leo tried to explain that he was just helping Gabi catch whoever was making fake Gabi Chic bags, but Shawn wasn’t hearing it. Instead, he dropped a total bombshell and arrested Leo on the spot!
Meanwhile, poor Javi was sitting at Small Bar waiting for his date… completely clueless that Leo was heading straight to a jail cell… or at least, the Salem PD.
Why was Rachel Black Rushed to the Hospital?
Over at the house, Brady checked on Rachel after talking with Tate and realized she was in real trouble. The poor kid confessed she just threw up and her stomach was still hurting like crazy. Brady knew right then she wasn’t just faking it to skip school, so he called for help and got her rushed to Salem University Hospital.
Sarah checked her over, and the doctors determined it’s appendicitis—meaning Rachel needs emergency surgery!
Rita Threatens a DiMera!
Meanwhile, at the DiMera mansion, Rita was going on and on about Leo and the fake bags, but EJ was NOT having it. He wanted to talk about what he overheard: Marlena demanding to know if Dominic Marino is her son with Stefano!
EJ made it clear that if Doc couldn’t get the truth out of her, he definitely would. However, Rita kept swearing she had no answers, but EJ called her out—he was testing her to see if she’d come to him with something so huge, and she failed big time.
Rita threw out that maybe Rolf knows something; after all, he’s as loyal to Stefano as she is. But then she took things a step further and straight-up threatened EJ! “How quickly you forget. I. Know. Everything. All of your deepest, darkest secrets,” she warned him. But right as things got super tense, Jada showed up with questions of her own for EJ!
