Happy 51st birthday to Ron Carlivati!
Ronald David Carlivati was born in Rochester, New York on November 25, 1968. He attended the College of the Holy Cross and George Washington University. Ron is known for his tenure on three of the most beloved soap operas: One Life to Live, General Hospital, and Days of Our Lives. He started out as a writer’s assistant on OLTL in 1996 and worked his way up to serve as Head Writer from 2007 to 2012. From there he moved over to General Hospital where he worked as Head Writer from 2012 to 2015. In 2017, Ron made his final leap to NBC’s Days of Our Lives where he has literally taken us to the future! We’re excited to see the drama he has in store for us next!
Carlivati’s work has received numerous nominations scoring two Daytime Emmy awards for Outstanding Drama Series Writing Team in 2008 for One Life to Live and 2018 for Days of Our Lives. His work on General Hospital has also been acknowledged by the Writer’s Guild.
