Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) have been on shaky ground lately. Ever since they impulsively eloped, the universe has basically been throwing bricks at them. Between the kidnapping trauma and the constant bickering, these two couldn’t even agree on the color of the sky.
However, after weeks of walking on eggshells, it looks like they’re finally ready to have some peace. Spoilers for Friday’s episode hint that they actually find some common ground and—wait for it—get close again.
But just when you thought they’d be on good ground for long, Salem does what it does best: it drops a bombshell. Or, in this case, a human one.
Joy Wesley is back in town, and she isn’t exactly interested in a slow re-entry. She’s heading straight for Alex’s doorstep. Talk about terrible timing!
Just as Alex and Stephanie are smoothing things over, Joy’s (AlexAnn Hopkins) arrival is bound to stir things up… seriously.
DiMera Siblings: From Zero to Sixty
Meanwhile, the family dynamic remains as toxic as ever. Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) have a relationship that changes faster than the weather.
One minute, they are getting along, and the next, everything falls apart. Right now, Kristen is in “scorched earth” mode. She’s dead-set on payback, and we all know that once she has a target in her sights, there is no talking her down.
The tension finally hits a breaking point this Friday. Following what we can only assume is a classic DiMera clash, Kristen loses her cool and slaps EJ across the face.
Sophia Choi’s Dangerous New Boss
Speaking of Kristen, her new partner-in-crime, Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd), might want to check the fine print on her “employment contract.”
Working with a DiMera is like juggling lit dynamite; it’s fine until it isn’t. Sophia is currently waiting for her next set of marching orders, but she’d be wise to follow them to the letter. If history has taught us anything, it’s that crossing Kristen is a one-way ticket to disaster.
To round out the drama, the rest of Salem is just as fired up: Days spoilers for April 24 also tease that Sarah (Linsley Godfrey) is laying into Xander (Paul Telfer). She’s got a bone to pick, and Xander is firmly in the doghouse. Meanwhile, Brady (Eric Martsolf) is absolutely livid. He’s stepping up to defend Marlena (Deidre Hall), and when it comes to “Doc,” Brady doesn’t take things lightly.
