A Glimmer of Hope and a Mother’s Comfort in Salem

Brady (Eric Martsolf) has been an absolute rock for Marlena (Deidre Hall) lately, and she definitely needs the support. Even with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) banning her from seeing Rachel (Lorelei Olivia Mote) after that courtroom drama, Marlena is doing her best to stay positive. It is just who she is.

So, it’s perfect timing for Brady to show up with some good news. Could this have something to do with Basic Black? Well, Brady did ask Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) to put in a good word for him. Maybe that update is finally here.

While Marlena is looking at the bright side, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) is struggling to find one. She has been through the wringer, and finding out Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) has a daughter was a massive sting—especially since they were supposed to be starting their own family together.

To make matters worse, Jeremy (Michael Roark) completely misread their vibe and planted that kiss on her. With her head spinning, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) steps in to do what she does best: comfort her daughter.

Preparing for the Worst and Facing the Task at Hand

Over at the hospital, it is almost time for Chanel’s (Raven Bowens) mammogram. It’s a heavy time for her, but Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is stepping in to help her prep for the procedure. Having a steady hand like Sarah’s around is exactly what Chanel needs right now as she faces this health hurdle head-on.

In other Salem news, Days spoilers for April 30 reveal that Johnny (Carson Boatman) is taking on a tough challenge: trying to get through to Sophia (Rachel Boyd). Considering Sophia is determined to carry out her task to a T, Johnny definitely has his work cut out for him. Will he be able to stop whatever she has planned, or will she destroy him?

Finally, things are looking up for Shawn (Brandon Beemer) as he gets a chance to show off a bit in front of Jada (Elia Cantu). It’s like a rare “good day” in a town usually filled with chaos!
