There is a lot happening in Salem, from Lexie (Nikki Crawford) preparing to die all over again to Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) making moves that are questionable.
Let’s start with the former—or rather, the resurrected! Lexie was brought back from the dead courtesy of some miracle serum that Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton) conjured up (by EJ’s instructions, of course).
She was so happy to be back and reunited with the love of her life and her son. However, she was soon dealt some dreadful news… that her return from the dead is going to be short-lived (pun intended).
To that end, Lexie has been keeping this dreadful secret from her son… and her husband… and she is preparing for the end. According to spoilers, she says goodbye. Is the end already here?
Alex Pleads With Joy
Meanwhile, Joy has done some things (since her return to Salem) that just make you wonder. What is she really after?
She has been so determined to keep Stephanie (Abigail Klein) out of baby Kelsey’s life (and hopefully maybe even Alex’s too). She has come up with this ridiculous demand, and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is not about to stand for it. To that end, look for him to make a heartfelt plea to Joy. But will she soften her heart towards the matter, or will Joy remain completely joyless?
Johnny Gets Disturbing News & Paulina Turns to Lani
Elsewhere in Salem, Johnny (Carson Boatman) hears disturbing news from EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). Plenty is happening with the DiMera clan right now, including Lexie dying again, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) going on the run, and EJ’s usual scheming. Which issue will EJ bring to Johnny, or does it involve another one of his dastardly deeds?
Finally, Days spoilers for August 5 also say that Paulina (Jackee Harry) turns to Lani (Sal Stowers) for help. Could this be about Chanel (Raven Bowens), Abe, or another crisis entirely? Time will tell.
