Trey Celebrates His Birthday as Johnny and Chanel Stay Strong

It’s been nearly a year since Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) officially adopted Trey. As viewers know, the road to becoming his parents wasn’t easy. They fought every step of the way, tooth and nail, and that same determination continues to carry them through Chanel’s cancer battle.
Now, they finally have something joyful to celebrate.

After learning that the water at Smith Island was contaminated, EJ believes he finally knows the reason Holly (Ashley Puzemis) became sick. With the tainted Coreisal now being connected to DiMera Enterprises, he’s determined to get some answers and maybe find out what the hospital already knows.

Will EJ ask his son to do a little snooping around the hospital on his behalf? Or will Johnny decide to stay out of it? Either way, this could put him in a difficult position.
Shawn and Jada Stop Fighting Their Feelings
Elsewhere, Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Jada (Elia Cantu) finally acknowledge what’s been obvious for weeks.
The more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to deny the connection between them. Their growing feelings are impossible to ignore, and it looks like they’re finally ready to see where this relationship could lead.
