A Suicide Note and a Sinister Plot: Sophia’s Guilt Reaches a Breaking Point
Salem is spiraling into chaos this week as Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) latest scheme pushes Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) to the edge. Sophia has been treading a dark path lately, acting as Kristen’s puppet in a ruthless attack on Johnny (Carson Boatman). But despite her actions, it’s becoming clear that Sophia still has a conscience.
After seeing a wave of nasty comments about herself online, Sophia actually tried to back out of the plan. Unfortunately, Kristen isn’t the type to take “no” for an answer, and she made sure Sophia followed through. Now, Sophia is completely rocked with guilt, which leads to a terrifying turn of events.
The Hunt for Sophia Begins
The situation takes a dire turn when poor Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) discovers what appears to be a suicide note from Sophia. The discovery sends shockwaves through town. Now Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Jada (Elia Cantu) are on a desperate hunt to find her before it’s too late. While they search for Sophia, Javi (Al Calderon) comes to a chilling realization that Johnny is in serious trouble—but we have to wonder if Javi has landed himself in the crosshairs, too. As for Kristen, she’s finally tasting the revenge she’s been craving. But is Johnny the only one she’s after, or will she turn the tables on Sophia once she’s outlived her usefulness? In Salem, loyalty is sometimes a one-way street with Kristen DiMera.
Support and Secrets in Salem
Looking ahead to May 1, Days spoilers confirm that Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) will be stepping up to support Chanel (Raven Bowens). But is Sarah comforting her because of whatever happens to Johnny, or does this have something to do with Chanel’s recent mammogram results? Chanel has been carrying a lot on her shoulders lately, and she’s going to need all the friends she can get.
Meanwhile, there is a moment of sweetness amidst the drama, and Tate (Leo Howard) tries his best to lift Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) spirits. With everything going on with their families, these two definitely need a win.
