Days of Our Lives Spoilers May 7: A Mother-Daughter Showdown

Gabi and Ari Clash

Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) isn’t exactly a fan of Liam (Hank Northrop). In fact, it’s safe to say she doesn’t trust him one bit. She has plenty of reasons to be wary, especially since she found out what he’s done, and now he’s somehow connected to her daughter.

While Gabi is on high alert, her daughter Ari (Vico Escorcia) sees things through a completely different lens. She’s actually quite fond of Liam and wants to get to know him better, regardless of her mother’s warnings. Expect this mother-daughter duo to clash as Ari pushes to explore a relationship Gabi wants no part of.

Alex Bonds with Justin

Meanwhile, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) just got the shock of a lifetime. A paternity test confirmed he is indeed the father of Joy’s (AlexAnn Hopkins) baby. This definitely wasn’t the news he expected to receive after eloping with Stephanie (Abigail Klein). His life looks a lot different from what he imagined just a few days ago, but he is stepping up and feels ready to be a father.

Justin (Wally Kurth) knows better than anyone that the road to parenthood can be a bumpy one. Once he learns he’s a grandfather to Alex’s daughter, the two will spend some quality time bonding over their new reality. 

Stephanie Vents to Jada

While the guys are busy talking shop, Stephanie is leaning on her bestie, Jada (Elia Cantu).

This whole situation is a lot for Stephanie to swallow. She likely wanted to be the one to give Alex his first child, but life had other plans. Now, Alex will be spending a lot of time with his daughter and, by extension, Joy. Stephanie needs an outlet, so she vents to Jada about the complicated road ahead.

Roman Pushes Kate, Johnny Supports Chanel  

Elsewhere in Salem, Days spoilers for May 7 confirm that Roman (Josh Taylor) is losing his patience. He presses Kate (Lauren Koslow) for the truth. He feels like he’s had enough of the secrets. Roman wants her to spill the tea now. Otherwise, this could cause permanent damage to their marriage.

Plus, Johnny (Carson Boatman) steps up to comfort Chanel (Raven Bowens). She is going through a rough patch and truly needs the support after receiving some heavy news from her doctor.
