EJ Has a Surprising Request for Cat
EJ was absolutely furious upon learning about Cat’s secret ties to the ISA! Of course, she insists that part of her life is far in the past, but something about her story just didn’t sit right with him. While viewers know EJ’s instincts are spot on, Cat has a cover story to sell.
To make her act look completely authentic, she took a bold step and quit her job as his assistant! In her mind, if she were still actively spying for the ISA, she would never willingly walk away from her post.
It is a risky ploy, but it looks like it might pay off in her favor! Since Cat hasn’t fully completed her mission, she lands right where she wants to be when EJ turns around and asks her to take back her job. Cat will likely play reluctant at first—after all, jumping at the opportunity immediately would only reignite EJ’s suspicions. But once the dust settles, expect Cat to step right back into the DiMera inner circle!
Surprising News on the Horizon for Lani!
Meanwhile, another Salem resident in for unexpected news is Lani—and fans are hoping it is the long-overdue miracle she needs! Lani requires an official pardon to overturn her felony conviction so she can legally put her badge back on and rejoin the Salem PD.
Paulina’s (Jackée Harry) initial push to get the governor to grant Lani a full pardon hit a major wall when he flat-out refused. But Paulina refused to take no for an answer! She sent over screenshots showcasing the public praising Lani for her heroics in rescuing Holly (Ashley Puzemis) during a mugging. Will this public support finally get the governor to change his mind and grant the pardon? Could this be the shocking update heading Lani’s way?
Gwen Makes Philip Uncomfortable
Days of Our Lives spoilers for October 14 reveal that Gwen makes Philip uncomfortable! Gwen is a master schemer at best, and Philip certainly has his own devious history. Are the two simply too alike to exist in the same room, or is there something far more brewing between them?
