Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, October 8, 2026, reveal Dante Vitali finally arrives in Salem, and his unexpected appearance leaves Sydney with plenty of questions. Meanwhile, Paulina fights to get Lani pardoned, Johnny puts EJ in the hot seat, and Marlena may reveal a shocking secret about Dominic Marino.
There is a lot happening in Salem, and several secrets could be dangerously close to coming out.
Dante Finally Turns Up in Salem
Last we saw Dante Vitali (Franco LoPresti), he was over in Monte Carlo enjoying a high-stakes game of poker before reporting back to Dominic Marino. So clearly, whoever this mysterious Dominic is, Dante is completely in cahoots with him!
But that was then, and now it’s time to handle Salem business. Dante finally turns up in town and catches Sydney (Sydney Malakeh) totally by surprise! We’re sure Sydney is going to be thrilled to see her boss and future stepdad, but she is bound to have plenty of questions—just like the rest of us! What in the world brings him to Salem right now?
Paulina Fights For Lani
Meanwhile, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) absolutely refuses to give up on Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers). Paulina firmly believes Lani deserves a full pardon so she can get right back on the police force. And honestly, we can’t blame her! Just look at how Lani swooped in to rescue Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) when a mugger targeted her right outside the Brady Pub. Lani clearly hasn’t lost her touch, and protecting people is what she loves to do. It makes total sense that Paulina wants her back out in the field.
Paulina plans to pull out all the stops, using her mayoral influence to call in a big favor from the governor to secure that legal pardon. Lani isn’t entirely sold on the idea, but Paulina? She isn’t backing down when it comes to fighting for her daughter—not one bit!
Speaking of her daughters, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) is facing a steep uphill battle as she stands by her husband, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). Johnny’s decision to confess is about to put him directly at odds with his father all over again. Johnny marching into the Salem PD and telling the DA that EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) was the mastermind behind the whole Carousel situation is not going to go over well once EJ gets wind of it! With tensions rising, look for Chanel to ask Johnny for a serious promise.
Marlena Has a Bombshell for Belle
Days of Our Lives spoilers for October 8 also tease that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) makes a shocking confession to Belle Black (Martha Madison)! Is Doc finally going to spill the tea that—according to his birth certificate—Dominic Marino is actually her son? If so, how will Belle handle the bombshell that she might have another brother running around out there?
On top of all that, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) finds herself in a very familiar position: bringing EJ in for questioning! She really has no choice, especially after Johnny dropped that massive bomb right in the middle of the Salem PD. Will EJ cut to the chase and tell the truth, or is he about to wriggle his way out of trouble once again?
