In today’s recap of Days of Our Lives for April 11, 2023: Kayla is happily reunited with Steve, Alex is stunned when he learns Kayla is alive, Stephanie and Chad question Maggie about Victor’s properties, and Brady is upset when he finds Chloe and Xander together.
Alex goes to Gwen’s hotel room to vent to her about what happened with Maggie. She encourages him to fight for his position at Titan and shares her suspicions about Xander and Chloe with him.
Chloe and Xander are playing darts at the pub when Brady shows up and isn’t happy to find them together. He and Xander exchange words and it almost comes to blows but Chloe intervenes. Brady asks to speak to her alone so Xander goes to get them more drinks. Brady and Chloe talk about the situation with Rachel. She feels there’s no way to change Rachel’s mind about her and Brady wonders if that means that she’s giving up on them.
Chloe tells him that she doesn’t know what to do and he leaves her to continue her dart game with Xander. Gwen comes into the pub later and sees them having fun together and assumes that Leo must have been right about them being a couple.
Brady goes to see Marlena and asks for her help with Rachel. Marlena agrees to try but after speaking to Rachel, she tells Brady that it’s going to take more time. Brady worries that he’s out of time and about to lose Chloe to Xander.
Kayla and Steve are happily reunited. She tends to his wound while he is just overjoyed to have her back. Kayla tells him about Bo’s plan and they discuss ways to bring back the Bo they know. Kayla tells him about the letter she found and how she actually feels bad for Victor never getting his happy ending with his true love. Steve reminds her about the diary they had found years before and how Emily and Gideon got their happy ending. Kayla and Steve are determined to get out of there and have their own happy ending.
Stephanie remembers hearing Kayla mention Victor while under hypnosis. She and Chad decide to go talk to him directly but when they ask Maggie she tells them that he’s out of town. She offers to help them in his place and they ask for a list of his properties in Greece. She agrees to have her assistant send them the list. They are discussing the list in the Square when Alex sees them. Stephanie tells him that her mother’s alive and he’s happy for her and himself because that means he didn’t keep her from saying a final goodbye.
