We all knew Sal Stowers was a powerhouse and a force to be reckoned with when it comes to her emotional work in daytime, especially when we reflect on her work as Cassandra in the sex trafficking storyline on the “All My Children” reboot. However, ever since joining ‘Days of Our Lives’ as Abe’s (James Reynolds) daughter and Theo’s (Kyler Pettis) sister, Lani Pryce we hadn’t seen much of that emotion until to today’s episode when she learned that it was her brother that JJ (Casey Moss) shot. As Lani came to grips with it and had to call her father to share the bad news that her brother was shot and hospitalized, our hearts broke as went into tears. But, the drama is just beginning and what’s worst is that it is her very own boyfriend that caused it.
We weren’t the only ones, however, who thought Stowers did an excellent job as there was an outpouring of love and good compliments for the talented actress on social media. And Stowers was nothing but overwhelmed and appreciative as she replied, “You guys are just to good to me. Thank you for all the love today!! Today’s episode was so challenging for me but I gave it my whole heart and I am so thankful I get to tell Lani‘s story for you all!
