Gwen Returns
Next week on Days of Our Lives, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) is back in Salem, and as always, drama follows. “Surprise!” she says, walking into a stunned Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes), whose jaw drops. “Happy Independence Day,” Gwen adds with a smirk—and just like that, the fireworks begin.
Wasting no time, Gwen dives right into the action and reconnects with Xander (Paul Telfer). Sparks fly, and the two share a steamy kiss. What does this mean for Xander’s current love life?
DiMera Drama and Family Power Plays
Meanwhile, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) warns EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) that regaining control of DiMera Enterprises needs to be their top priority. EJ agrees and suggests a bold move—he thinks Johnny (Carson Boatman) might be the key. But what exactly does he want his son to do?
Speaking of Johnny, the promo shows him sharing a kiss with Chanel (Raven Bowens). Yay!
Fireworks in Love—and Trouble
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) makes a bold move of his own, telling Stephanie (Abigail Klein) that he’s all in and that he loves her. She’s clearly moved—and they seal it with a kiss just as the Fourth of July fireworks light up the sky.
It’s also a sweet moment for Tate (Leo Howard) and Holly (Ashley Puzemis), who are thrilled to be back together and share a kiss of their own.
Marlena’s Secret and Newborn Concerns
Not everything is hearts and fireworks, though. Marlena (Deidre Hall) seems… off. Belle (Martha Madison) picks up on it and begins to wonder if her mom is hiding something important.
Elsewhere, Leo (Greg Rikaart) is frazzled and worried about the newborn he’s caring for—who just won’t stop crying. Thankfully, Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) steps in and offers to help.
