Delon de Metz has made his daytime soap opera debut in the role of Zende Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful this week. He takes over the role from Emmy award-winning actor, Rome Flynn.

In regards to joining the cast, he said:

Growing up in NYC, you’d be hard-pressed to find a household that didn’t have a soap on at least one of its screens during the daytime. For us, it was always the kitchen – school sick day and summer afternoon snacking would be peppered with the kind of drama I now, somehow, find myself in the middle of. What is this life. I think, often, what my five year old sandwich stuffing self would say if I could go back in time and tell him that, one day, he’d be on the other side of the screen. The thought of that slack-jawed expression alone makes moments like this well worth the wait. I’m extremely humbled to announce my entry into one of television’s longest-running dynasties, The Bold and The Beautiful. Massive thanks to @bradleybell for making me a Forrester, to my new cast and crew-mates for showing me the ropes, and to the fans for giving me such a warm welcome. Get ready guys, Zende is back!
