It is no secret that Finn Carr is one of the absolute best gets among the younger set on soap operas today. The young actor’s immense talent speaks for itself, and daytime fans clearly agree. Readers have voted him as the Soap Opera News Star of the Month for May 2026.
What Happened with Rocco on General Hospital?
Carr’s character, Rocco Falconeri, on General Hospital has been on a heartbreaking and chaotic journey ever since he followed Britt and ended up shooting WSB director Ross Cullum on the pier.
Since then, Rocco has been drowning in guilt and barely holding himself together emotionally.
The pressure eventually became too much for Rocco to carry alone, leading him to confess to Britt that he was the one who pulled the trigger.
In many ways, it makes sense that Rocco would turn to Britt during such a vulnerable moment. Their complicated connection goes back years.
Britt famously stole a frozen embryo belonging to Lulu Spencer and Dante Falconeri before having her mother, Liesl Obrecht, implant it so she could pass the baby off as her own with Dr. Patrick Drake. At the time, she named him Ben Westbourne before the truth about his parentage finally came out.
Once Rocco grew up and learned the reality of his birth, he naturally felt a unique attachment to the woman who carried him.
Rocco Goes on the Run with Britt
Fast forward to this week, and things became even more intense.
While Lulu had her own plans to go on the run with her son, should the worst come to pass, Rocco ultimately made the decision himself and left town with Britt instead. That is, after Britt warned him how much danger he is in.
Naturally, the move sent Dante and Lulu into complete panic mode.
Still, Rocco later sent a video message reassuring them that this was his choice. He even used the phrase, “not all who wander are lost,” as a coded message to let them know he left on his own accord.
Finn Carr Has Been Delivering Standout Performances
Through every major scene this month, Finn Carr completely delivered.
Whether it was Rocco opening up to Dante in emotional father-son moments, confiding in Britt, or clashing with Danny and Charlotte, Carr brought so much raw emotion and vulnerability to the screen.
He never missed a beat.
The storyline itself has already been gripping, but Carr’s performances elevated the material even further. You could genuinely feel Rocco’s guilt, fear, confusion, and desperation in every scene.
At this point, it is clear Finn Carr has an incredibly bright future ahead of him.
