Finola Hughes (Anna DeVane, General Hospital) has paid tribute to Shannen Doherty who died at age of 53 on Saturday.
Numerous tributes continue to pour in for Doherty known for her iconic roles of Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210 and Prue Halliwell in the original Charmed. Finola Hughes (Anna, General Hospital) who played Patricia “Patty” Halliwell in Charmed paid tribute to her former onscreen daughter.
Doherty began her impressive career at the age of 11, leaving a lasting impression with her performances on Father Murphy and Little House On the Prairie, before landing a leading role in the family drama Our House.
On her Instagram account, Finola Hughes wrote, “Beautiful Shannen. What a warrior. Fierce talent, passionate actor, friend, advocate. She fought. My heart goes out to her family, her beloved mama, her doggy, her friends who loved her equally fiercely as she loved them. God, I’m sorry for this loss…. Rest in peace Shannen.”
