It was the last day of the year, and a family was mourning their beloved one. Actor, Martin West passed away at the age of 82 on December 31, 2019, according to Soaps In Depth.
Newer viewers of the soap opera genre may not be familiar with him but long-time soap fans would remember him for his role as Dr. Phil Brewer on General Hospital from 1967 – 1975 and Donald “Don” Hughes on As the World Turns from 1977 – 1978.
West was the life partner of Ann Chernow. He is survived by three children, Jason Weixelbaum, Allie West, and Gabriel West along with his stepson, Paul Mend, and his sister, Gail Britt.
